The proposed Oct. 5 fight between Miguel Cotto and Delvin Rodriguez has essentially been agreed to by both sides, according to Rodriguez's manager A.J. Galante.

Martinez defends his title against Diego Magdaleno in Macau on April 2, but the WBO elected to keep Burgos its No. 1 contender in lieu of the controversial nature of the bout.
